Let Us Look After Your Home's "Bear Necessities" while you are away!

Who Are We?

Lorenza Saule
Lorenza was born in Italy and immigrated with her parents and siblings to Ontario where she spent her childhood. As an adult she moved to Calgary, Alberta where she met her future husband.

After moving to beautiful British Columbia and having lived in a few communities throughout the province, Lorenza, her husband and their three young children decided to settle in Cranbrook. They have been part of this wonderful community since 1997.

Over the years, Lorenza has been involved with, and volunteered in several clubs groups and organizations, including the Pony Club, 552 Key City Air Cadets, Cranbrook Flying Club, British Columbia Provincial Committee of the Air Cadet League of British Columbia, Ladies Auxiliary Board member of the Cristoforo Colombo Lodge, and a volunteer at Key City Theatre.

Lorenza is very excited to be the new owner of Bear Necessities Home Watch Service and is looking forward to working with you to provide you with peace of mind, travel and home services.

In 2010, Melanie was thrilled to join the Cranbrook is Hockeyville organizing committee. “The community spirit was amazing and reinforced the fact we definitely made the right decision to move to Cranbrook”.

Rick, an engineer, also has an extensive background volunteering for hockey, softball and slo-pitch. “My first job when I was young was mowing neighbours’ lawns and it looks like that is going to be my last job too”.

Our son Ryan has also been an active part of the growth and success of the family business.

Through the business we have already met many wonderful people and look forward to meeting many more in the future. It’s a great feeling to be able to offer local residents an opportunity to enjoy their holidays without worrying about the home-front while they’re away. Melanie and Rick are excited at the thought of living, working and volunteering in friendly & fast growing Cranbrook.
